It was looking so good in the first quarter for Riverside Tigers. The Desert Roadrunners started off with the ball but the Tigers made them punt and blocked the punt to score their first touchdown of the game. Later in the first quarter, Isaiha Holland intercepted from Roadrunners quarterback JD Buonantony. Brought into a touchdown by Tiger Jeremy Gallard, the running back. At the end of the first quarter the score was 14-0.
The second quarter started a touchdown already went by for Roadrunners by Jai Steib. Then, the Roadrunners kickoff and stop them to make the Tigers punt inside the ten yard line. Roadrunner linebackers Roman Tausaga block the punt and recover the ball in the end zone to tie the game 14-14. Then a Tiger named James Calhoun went around the world to score a touchdown to make it 21-14. Then later in the second quarter Roadrunner quarterback JD Buonantony rush and flip for a touchdown to tie the first half 21-21.
Tigers start off in the second half to score another touchdown thrown by Nathan Lamonica to Tommy Curry to make it 28-21. Then Roadrunner JD Buonantony thrown another interception to James Calhoun, but this time takes it into the end zone. Then the Tigers kicker Chase Griswold miss the extra point, so that make the score 34-21. Then Roadrunner kicker Brett Symonds kick a 30 yards field goal to make the score 34-24. That was the end of third quarter.
It wasn’t over yet. Roadrunners got the ball back to score a touchdown done by running back Jai Steib to make the score 34-31. Then the Roadrunners got the ball back to kick another field goal to tie the game 34-34.
Now it is overtime Roadrunner get the first ball, so Jai Steib could run another touchdown to make the score 41-34, but Tigers got one more shot to tie the game up. Tiger quarterback Nathan Lamonica threw another touchdown to Tommy Curry, but the Roadrunners blocked the extra point to win the game 41-40.
