Michael Jackson's "This Is It" is an extraordinary 2009 concert film that gives you a look at Michael Jackson's on-stage rehearsals.

This documentary shows Jackson directing and rehearsing along side everyone ranging from performers, musicians, and choreographers. The footage was shot at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The film shows Jackson as a true musical genius and perfectionist when he's fully engaged in his work. The concert was scheduled to start on July 13, 2009, but was cancelled due to his death.

The film opens with short dialogues from back-up dancers and an introduction from the film's director, Kenny Ortega, stating that the film is for the fans.

Jackson performs many of his popular songs, such as "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", "Jam","Smooth Criminal", and "Thriller".

The film concludes with Jackson standing on stage with his arms extended and the message: "Michael Jackson King of Pop Love Lives Forever."
